Description
Black Swans have black feathers, white flight feathers, red bill with a pale tip, greenish-black legs and feet. The female swans are called pens, whereas the male swans are called Cobs, and the younger swans are called Cygnets. The males are mostly slightly larger than the female swans. A black swan in measure between 110-142cm in their
length and weigh between 7-9 kg. Their wing span can get up to 2 m. Black swans hold their necks up while swimming, and when they fly together they make a 'V' formation.
